About Lois
Lois A. Wittich graduated from the University of Wisconsin B. S. with Honors in 1961 and from the University of Hawaii with High Honors for an M.F.A. in 1964. She also interned with internationally known artist Toshiko Takaezu and spent one year in Japan studying with Toyo Kaneshige, a Living National Treasure of Japan. Lois co-founded an arts and crafts school outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico which was funded for 7 years by the National Endowments for the Arts.
Wittich spent 3 years in the Peace Corps, in Ecuador South America, living and working with Andean artisans as a designer. Wittich has exhibited extensively in juried and invitational shows in this country and abroad. She has won numerous awards. Her paintings are in private collections worldwide.
Lois lives in Phoenix, Arizona and creates custom designed paintings for home and office settings as well as has paintings and painted furniture available for sale. She provides unique art instruction events for small groups in her tranquil Arizona rustic patio setting. Lois also creates life force paintings for individuals by special order and has art exhibited local galleries in the Phoenix area.
Lois lives a positive and energetic life despite having battled Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years. She now walks free of this crippling disease and has developed, through research and experiences, lifestyle practices and support which inspires and helps hundreds of people. She believes that anyone can tap into their inner creativity and genius and expand into an enjoyable living
